This beautiful bespoke handmade kitchen Island was made from Quilted Rippled Sycamore, sometimes known as Fiddle Back Sycamore because of its use in the making of violins and other musical instruments, including eccentric hand carved sculptural posts, sculptural hand carved door panels and drawer fronts. The Batterie de Cuisine is hand carved with a Hedge Bindweed design. The panelling was made from Cherry Wood. Rippled Sycamore is extremely rare but is the ultimate wood to create a dramatic effect, especially when lit with natural side light.
